A Four-Door Mustang SUV?

Is Ford planning to release a four-door Mustang SUV? That’s the word from Car Buzz who reports the blue oval’s plans are still somewhat secret with only a “shadowy teaser image” of the rear publicly released.

The fully electric, Mustang-inspired, SUV was going to include the “Mach 1” designation – but enthusiasts pushed back. So, now even the moniker remains in the dark. However, trademark filings reveal that it could be called “Mustang Mach-E.”

Mustangs nearly grew four-doors back in the 70’s – but the pony car was “saved” by the small, yet severely under powered, Mustang II.
