A Popeye Horror Film Is Happening

Another one of the cartoon characters you loved as a kid is getting a horror makeover.

Alpeke Entertainment has announced they’ve made a horror comedy starring Popeye the Sailor called Shiver Me Timbers.

In the film, Olive Oyl, her brother Castor, and her friends head out on a camping trip to see the meteor shower with Halley’s Comet, but things turn horrible when a meteor turns Popeye into a killing machine.

A trailer for the 75-minute film has been released.
