All-Star Game MVP Trophy To Honor Kobe Bryant

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced in Chicago over All-Star Weekend that the NBA All-Star Game MVP Award will now honor the memory of Lakers great Kobe Bryant.

The league will now call the award the Kia NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP Award, with Silver saying “Kobe Bryant is synonymous with NBA All-Star and embodies the spirit of this global celebration of our game.”
