Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard has a big side project he’s working on — a whole new band.

It’s called “Painted Shield” and features former Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain, folk singer Mason Jennings, and vocalist/keyboardist Brittany Davis.

Their self-titled debut album is set to be released on November 27.

Gossard said the decision to form “Painted Shield” was easy.

“I love making music, and I especially love collaborating with other musicians.”

Their first single is already out called “I Am Your Country”.

Who are some artists you would love to see collaborate on a new song or album?
