Bad News for Bourbon: No George T. Stagg in 2021

Every year, Buffalo Trace distillery releases the very high-end and hard-to-find George T. Stagg Bourbon Whiskey.
Sadly, fans won’t get to enjoy it this year.
The brand has announced that the barrels of the 14-year-old whiskey prepared in 2006 that would be used for the annual bottling were not up to Stagg’s standards.
A rep for the company said, “It just didn’t look right. It didn’t match the taste profile we expect from Stagg.”
