Billy Corgan On Why D’arcy Is ‘Done’ With Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan and D’arcy Wretzky were engaged in a bit of a public feud last year regarding her return to the Smashing Pumpkins for their reunion.

While things had been quiet, the frontman is speaking out again.

In an interview last month with the Toronto Sun, Corgan continues to stand firm on not letting the bassist back into the band.

Reiterating past statements, Corgan says, “We tried to include her, and it just didn’t work out. As far as I’m concerned, we gave her the option to be involved and she chose not to be and that’s that. That part of the story is done.”

D’arcy refutes that, claiming she was only offered a guest spot on the tour.
