Chad Kroeger Says Nickelback Would Be ‘Canceled’ If They Released This Song Today

Rock history is filled with songs that would easily get an artist canceled today – even a band like Nickelback.

Kroeger told Audacy Check In that the band’s 2003 song “Figured You Out” would never fly in 2022.

He said ‘Can you imagine we released a song starting with ‘I like your pants around your feet’ now? We’d be canceled in two seconds”.

Nickelback’s new album, Get Rollin’, was released on Friday.
