Chevelle Putting Finishing Touches on New Album

Chevelle’s Pete Loeffler told Wired in The Empire that has recorded eight songs with Joe Barresi, who has produced records for Melvins and Kyuss. Loeffler said that the finished mixes should be ready before the end of the month.

Loeffler was really pleased with the dark and heavy elements of Chevelle’s last two albums but Berressi suggested: “Let’s try and do some melodic stuff.” He also says the band is choosing from four different songs as the album’s first single. Chevelle’s last album was 2016’s The North Corridor.
