Churchill Downs Sees Record-Breaking Derby Week

On the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s race record, Churchill Downs Incorporated announced that the Kentucky Derby Day program set a new record of $288.7 million in wagering from all sources.

This beat the previous record of $273.8 million set in 2021.

Additionally, the Kentucky Oaks Day race card set a new record of $74.9 million in wagering from all sources.

Derby Week also saw a new record of $412.0 million in all-sources handle, beating the previous record of $391.8 million.
