Coheed & Cambria Cancel Tour as Drummer Undergoes Heart Surgery
After fainting last weekend while playing at Orlando’s House of Blues, Coheed & Cambria drummer Josh Eppard will have a heart operation to close an extra pathway to his heart. The band has cancelled the remainder of their 2019 tour while Eppard recovers.
The band apologized to those affected by the midwest and Australian dates that were cancelled but said “We feel strongly that an abundance of caution is best for Josh and the band.” They promised to return bigger and better in 2020.
Hello Everyone,
As some of you may have heard, our fantastic drummer, @Weerd_Science had a fainting spell on stage early in our set Saturday night in Orlando. After a visit from the paramedics, he insisted on coming back out to finish the show- which was extremely courageous – 1/ pic.twitter.com/2Sy55hpw2W— Coheed and Cambria (@Coheed) October 25, 2019
