Could concerts and festivals return full-force next summer? Live Nation’s CEO says yes.

In a new memo, Michael Rapino predicts a “robust outdoor summer season in 2021”.

He details how 86% of concert-goers actually held on to tickets for rescheduled tour dates, rather than getting a refund.

Also, 19 million tickets have already been sold for concerts and festivals in 2021.

Rapino said he doesn’t expect crowd sizes to be cut, instead live events will return “at scale”.

Do you agree that by June or July of next year, thousands will be packed together for live shows again?
