Corey Taylor always has something to say, but the Slipknot singer recently opened up about his kids.

Taylor appeared on the Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown podcast and talked about drugs and alcohol, his childhood, and using therapy to help him be a good parent.

“He’s gonna be 20 this year, and my heart just [bursts with emotion],” Taylor said of his son Griffin. “He’s in a band that’s doing really well right now. As much as I try to just let him free range and just be his own self… At one point when he was younger, he wanted to be a botanist and a video game tester. And I was, like, ‘Hey. Go. Run with the bulls. Make it happen.’ And then he just gravitated right to the [music] stuff.”

“My [youngest] daughter’s seven,” Taylor added. “So I have a high school daughter, who’s 29; I have Griffin, who’s 19; and I have Ryan, my daughter, who’s seven. So I have to be careful every 10 years. Apparently, I’m very fertile. It’s very weird.”

Do you think it must be weird to be the child of a rock star? What rock star do you think would be a fun parent?
