Dave Grohl Surprises 9-Year-Old Drummer on Ellen

Dave Grohl continues to be the coolest guy in rock; this time he surprised a nine-year-old drum virtuoso on Ellen. Yoyoka Soma showed off her drum skills on Ellen, drumming to The Foo Fighters’ “The Pretender” never missing a beat. After her performance, Ellen told her she had a message from one of the young drummer’s idols.

Dave Grohl then showed up on the screen to say that he has seen Soma drum and told her she was amazing and to keep up the good work.” Soma was also surprised with four VIP tickets to a Foo Fighters show.
