Metallica is sticking with its bourbon despite James Hetfield’s alcohol addiction.
The rock legends released their own whiskey, Blackened, two years ago.
In a new interview, Guitarist Kirk Hammett told the Daily Star there’s no way they are ditching it.
“James’s struggle to get dry is a completely personal matter mentally and emotionally. The fact that we produce, bottle and sell alcohol is totally independent of this.”
Hammett said the band is fully supportive of Hetfield, who returned to rehab last year to work on his recovery.
Do you agree the band should continue selling their bourbon?
