The “Wheel of Fortune” contestant who lost out on winning a new Audi over a technicality is getting her prize anyway.

In an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of the game show, Charlene Rubush was trying to answer the bonus round puzzle with the clue, “What are you doing?” Although she came up with the first three words, “Choosing the right …,” it took her a moment to spit out the last word, which was “word.” Although “Choosing the right word” was indeed the correct answer, the show’s judges decided she’d taken too long a pause. Rush left without the grand prize, an Audi Q3.

Among the viewers who thought Rubush has been ripped off was Tara Rush, CMO of Audi. She says she contacted the contestant and her new car will be delivered soon. “In the spirit of the holidays, we are thrilled to gift Charlene with an all-new Audi Q3,” Rush says. “It is the season of giving after all and, technicality or not, we are always eager to share a bit of Audi magic and cheer.”

Was there any doubt that Audi would miss a publicity opportunity like this?
