President-elect Trump has been named Time Magazine’s 2024 “Person of the Year.”
The legacy news magazine announced the decision Thursday morning, highlighting Trump’s political rebirth and realignment of American politics.
Trump, 78, plans to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
Time noted that Trump is now the “world’s most powerful man” and has remade the Republican Party, leaving Democrats reckoning with the outcome of the most recent election.
Trump was previously named Time Person of the Year in 2016 after his first successful Presidential victory.
