Elton John Calls Damon Albarn from Gorillaz a “British Jewel”

In a new interview, Elton John has called Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn a “British jewel.”

John credits Albarn’s diverse music catalog and interests in working on different projects, including an opera that recently opened in Paris.

John recently appeared on the Gorillaz track “The Pink Phantom.”
