Florence + The Machine Assist With Fan’s Proposal

Two concertgoers just got engaged in the most public way possible, proposing in front of thousands of Florence + The Machine fans last week.

The English indie rockers played a sold-out set in Scotland. When Florence Welch learned of the duo’s plans, she invited them up to the stage during the show.

Acting as the MC, the frontwoman addressed the crowd, noting that she “had a very special request,” then passed the microphone between Steph and Jenny, for Step to get down on one knee.

Look for an exclusive double vinyl 10th-anniversary boxset of the band’s debut album, Lungs, to be released this Friday.
