Following up to the 2017 release of Concrete And Gold, Foo Fighters could have a new album as soon as next year.

In a recent interview, Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, shared that the band is looking to get back into the studio as soon as they finish their current tour.

In the video above, Hawkins said:

“Well, from what I’ve heard from our fearless leader Dave Grohl, he has a lot of demos that he’s worked on and I think we’ll start, once this tour is over… I think not too soon after that we’ll start the process of putting the songs together as a band. It’s a long process, we do a lot of demoing and stuff, but I think that we’ll have, I’m hoping, I think we’ll have a new record by next year. We should.”

All of this comes in the wake of news that the band has plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.

Catch Foo Fighters next month playing at Bourbon & Beyond, September 20th – 22nd, at the Kentucky Expo Center. Tickets and more info available here.
