Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins Banking On NYC Autograph Seekers

When the Foo Fighters roll out of NYC, Taylor Hawkins’ pockets are going to be a little fatter after striking a deal with autograph seekers.

TMZ caught up with the drummer outside his hotel this weekend and witnessed a handful of guys move in for Taylor’s signature.

It started to sound like an auction.

In the TMZ video, you can see (and hear) autograph seekers shouting out dollar amounts to get Taylor’s attention.

Someone offered $40 – TH beelined for him – and signed a photo.

Now why in the world does a rock star need the few extra bucks?

Taylor joked it’s all about avoiding the ATMs and keeping his wife happy (smart man!)
