The Grammys paid tribute to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins Sunday night, who died just over a week ago.
The band had been previously scheduled to perform during the broadcast.
Host Trevor Noah introduced a montage of memorable Hawkins moments in place of the performance.
Foo Fighters won Grammys for Best Rock Performance (“Making a Fire”), Best Rock Song (“Waiting on a War”), and Best Rock Album (Medicine at Midnight) Sunday night, but no one from the band was there to accept the awards.
Billie Eilish also paid tribute to Hawkins in her Grammys performance, wearing a t-shirt with a picture of him on it.
