Franz Ferdinand Announce New Album, Share 1st Single

Franz Ferdinand is back with a new song and an album on the way.

The band released the bouncy, uplifting “Audacious” on Wednesday.  It will appear on their sixth album The Human Fear, due out Jan. 10th.

Frontman Alex Kapranos describes the album as “a bunch of songs searching for the thrill of being human via fears. Not that you’d necessarily notice on first listen.”

The band launches a tour of Mexico and South America in October.
