The good news – HBO’s long-awaited Game of Thrones prequel series finally has a release date. The bad news – we’ll be waiting a bit longer.
On Friday, the network confirmed that Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon would arrive on HBO and HBO Max sometime in 2022.
The series will take place 300 years before the events of the original Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin’s history of the Targaryen family.
