Glass Animals Now Has The Record For Longest Climb To Number One

It’s been a long climb to the top, but Glass Animals have gone to number one with their hit “Heat Waves,” setting a new record for the longest time to reach the top.

“Heat Waves” spent a staggering 59 weeks on its slow ascent to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The previous record was held by Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, on 35 weeks.
