The coronavirus has claimed another music festival, with Glastonbury announcing that this year has been canceled.
Organizers took to social media on Wednesday, saying that it was their “only viable option,” in the wake of the global pandemic.
Fortunately for the 135,000 who had plunked down deposits, they’re not out of luck. Tickets will be rolled over to 2021.
For the 50th anniversary of the festival, Taylor Swift, Sir Paul McCartney, and Kendrick Lamar were set to headline, with Kacey Musgraves, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Pet Shop Boys, Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, and Diana Ross all on the bill.
Which festivals did you have tickets for this year? What will the organizers do?
