Outside of the Alternative, Rock, and Metal categories (which we posted about here), there were other people there…
Trevor Noah hosted the event, and did exactly what should be done from a host: Keep the show moving with quick and harmless jokes.
Jay-Z took the opportunity to roast the Grammys talking about how Beyonce has never won Album of The Year (even though she has won the most Grammys out of anyone).
After winning 3 of 4 awards in the Rap category, Killer Mike was detained and arrested on-site just before the ceremony started.
Miley Cyrus made a bold choice in wearing a dress made only of safety pins… Like… What?…
She also performed and the song “Flowers” won Record of the Year.
Billie Eilish won Song of the Year for “What Was I Made For”:
SZA won Best R&B Song for “Snooze” and then dodged swords during her performance!
It was also Taylor Swift’s night, as she won her 13th Grammy and announced a new album.
More red carpet looks here:
The Louisville Orchestra is celebrating Teddy Abrams and Yuja Wang’s win for Best Classical Instrumental Solo!
But the BEST moment of the night had to be Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs taking the stage for an ICONIC
duet of “Fast Car”!
