‘Grand Theft Auto’ Trilogy Axes Several Songs from Playlist

While Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition features improved graphics and smoother gameplay, not all aspects of the collection are bigger and better than they used to be.

Players who purchased the just-released collection on Thursday have noticed that a number of songs used in the original versions are missing from the remastered set, presumably over licensing issues.

At least 24 songs have been cut from the games, including Tom Petty’s “Running Down a Dream,” Ozzy Osbourne’s “Bark at the Moon” and “Hellraiser,” Kate Bush’s “Wow,” and Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name,” the track list reveals.

Do the revised track lists change the feel of the games?
