Green Day Announces Book Release

Green Day are releasing their first book, “Last of the American Girls.”

The book is described as “an inspiring homage and handbook for the rebellious every-woman who refuses to capitulate” and will be released October 29th.

All members of the band are recognized as co-authors and is illustrated by cartoonist Frank Caruso.

No other details of the book have been released other than it’s a “celebration of ‘true rebel girls,’” a reference to the “American Idiot” track “She’s a Rebel.”
