Green Day Cancel Moscow Concert Over Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

Green Day announced they have canceled their upcoming concert at Moscow’s Spartak Stadium because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
On Instagram Sunday, the band posted a statement saying, “We are aware that this moment is not about stadium rock shows, it’s so much bigger than that.”
Green Day added, “There will be a time and a place for us to return in the future.”
The Moscow concert was scheduled to take place on May 29 as part of Green Day’s Hella Mega Tour.
