Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Claims He’s Renouncing Citizenship

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong announced on Friday that he was “renouncing” his U.S. citizenship.

Armstrong did not hold back when mentioning the overturn of Roe v. Wade at the band’s Friday show in London.

“F*** America,” Armstrong told the crowd. “I’m f***ing renouncing my citizenship. I’m f***ing coming here.”

“Oh, I’m not kidding,” Armstrong added. “You’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days.”
