Hero Dog Saves Fellow Pup from Drowning

A South African family’s dog is being called a hero after a recent rescue.

Security footage shows the Staffordshire terrier, Jessie, coming to the aid of a small Pomeranian who slipped into a swimming pool.

Within about 30 minutes, Jessie was able to grab and drag her small, struggling friend out of the swimming pool.

“It was heart-wrenching to watch,” said the dogs’ owners. “We still struggle to watch that video today, just thinking of what could have happened if Jessie was not there.”
