IMDB’s Top Ten Movies of 2019

It set a record as the first R-rated movie to earn over $1 billion at the box office and now Internet Movie Database, or IMDB, has named Joker the best movie of 2019.  The DC Comics film’s high rating combined with it’s IMDB page views earned Joker the top spot.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker beat out Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio giving their film, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, the #2 spot.  Rounding out IMDB’s top 5 movies for 2019; Avengers: Endgame at #3, followed by Captain Marvel and It: Chapter Two.

IMDB’s #6 film for 2019: The Lion King, then Spider-Man: Far From Home, Alita: Battle Angel at #8, Aladdin at #9 and Jordan Peele’s Us at #10.
