Does it feel like the weather is extra hot this summer? It’s not your imagination.

According to NOAA, July was officially the hottest month on record, going all the way back to the year 1880.

Overall, global temperatures averaged 62.13 degrees, about .05 degrees higher than the previous record set in July of 2016, and nearly two degrees higher than the average global temps during the 20th century.

If these rises are due to climate change, what can we do to change it? Has this summer seemed like a particularly hot one?
