Kentucky Mayor Crashs Car After Falling Asleep In White Castle Drive-Thru
December 4, 2020 8:27AM EST
The mayor of a Kentucky town was arrested for DUI after a late-night White Castle run went very badly.
Police say Beverly Chester-Burton, mayor of the Louisville suburb of Shively, KY, fell asleep in the White Castle drive-thru.
After someone knocked on her window to wake her up, Chester-Burton hit the gas and struck the back of a truck before crashing into a utility pole.
Police say Chester-Burton failed “multiple sobriety tests” at the scene and was booked into jail on a DUI charge before being released Wednesday.
How should the mayor address this issue publicly? What’s your go-to late night fast food?
