Kings Of Leon Pull the Plug on October Tour Dates

Family band Kings Of Leon have pulled the plug on their October tour dates following the death of their mother.

Betty Ann Murphy — mother of the band’s Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill — passed away last weekend of undisclosed causes, the band has announced. Her death came just days after the group cancelled two shows so they could spend time with their mom, who they said was experiencing a “medical crisis.”

“If you haven’t heard, our mom Betty Ann passed away peacefully last week,” the band writes on Instagram. “We’ve decided to cancel all remaining tour dates through October to be with our families. Thanks for the kind words and all the love you’ve given to the entire Followill family.”
