EA Sports released the cover for Madden NFL 21 on Monday, with current NFL MVP Lamar Jackson on the cover.  Jackson is the second Baltimore Raven to appear on a Madden cover; Ray Lewis appeared on it in 2005.

Jackson already spilled the beans of his cover prior to EA Sports’ official reveal and isn’t worried about the ‘Madden curse”.  In fact, he pointed out in April that Patrick Mahomes was on Madden 19’s cover and won an MVP and a Super Bowl.  Jackson said he’d love to be “cursed” like the Kansas City QB and follow up his cover with a Super Bowl win.

Madden 21 will be available worldwide August 28th.

Do you think Jackson will follow up his Madden cover with a Super Bowl win?  Do you think the “Madden curse” has been broken?  Who’s going to buy Madden 21 on the first day it’s available?
