Linkin Park Planning ‘Something Very Cool’ for Hybrid Theory’s 20th Anniversary

In an interview with Kerrang, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda said the band “has something very cool” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s breakout album, Hybrid Theory.

Shinoda said “We’re planning some fun stuff. All I’ll say is that we’ve put some work in…and not just the band”, alluding that the band is planning multiple celebrations for the album’s 20th anniversary.

He’s asking fans to be patient, saying “The Linkin Park fan base is one of the most creative and active fan bases out there, and I want this to be a surprise.” Shinoda also said that he won’t spill the Hybrid Theory beans cause he’s worried that the fans “will come up with ideas that are better than ours.”

Can you think of a cool way for Linkin Park to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory? Which song from the album is your favorite?
