Louisville SDF is the ‘Fastest Growing Airport’ in the United States

Tis’ the busy season at Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport, but it’s not just us noticing the increase in traffic.

Louisville SDF is the fastest-growing airport in the country! Just recently, SDF set a record for the most passengers ever during the Kentucky Derby with almost 18,000 passengers.

To help with the increased traffic, the airport is undergoing major improvements, including an expansion of the baggage claim area, checkpoint expansion, and customer experience improvements such as new skylights, plug-ins, and a major renovation to the exterior.

To help reduce delays, travelers are encouraged to arrive early and not check a bag if possible.
