Lzzy Hale Talks About Her Paintings

Lzzy Hale is more than just a rock star – the Halestorm frontwoman is also an artist and painter.

Hale opened up about her painting process during an appearance on the podcast Side Jams with Bryan Reesman.

Hale prefers to paint to music, usually “some 80’s hair metal stuff”.  She also says her paintings are more colorful than you might expect from a rocker who wears mostly black.

Asked if she’d ever put one of her paintings on a guitar, Hale said “I have a couple of guitars that I probably would be brave enough to do that with.”
