A man playing The Lumineers’ song “Ophelia” on a public piano outside in downtown Boston on Tuesday had a very special (surprise) audience.

Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers just happened to be walking by when he heard the group’s popular song randomly being played by a guy named Sam Spencer.

Fraites posted a video of the encounter on Instagram.

The caption read: “Heard a familiar tune while wandering the streets of Boston.”

In the video, Fraites stops to listen, then joins in on the piano.

“At first, he didn’t realize that I was from The Lumineers, but he was kind enough to let me hop in and play with him.”

Spencer responded to the clip saying he was still in shock. “I’ll be telling this story for the rest of my life!”
