MCR’s ‘The Black Parade’ Has Been Certified Triple Platinum

Here’s just how excited My Chemical Romance’s UK fans are about the reunited rockers heading across the pond this summer: The Black Parade has been officially certified triple platinum.

Since announcing their comeback last Halloween, sales and streams of MCR’s music have spiked. They saw a 190% jump in YouTube streams during that first week alone.

All four of My Chemical Romance’s albums have gone at least gold in the UK, and Rocksound.tv points out that the UK is the only place in the world that has certified all four of the band’s albums.

MCR will spend the summer touring Australia, New Zealand, Japan, England, Ireland, and parts of Europe before returning home to North America for September and October.
