Vinyl records are so popular these days that Metallica has taken matters into its own hands.
To keep up with the demand for their albums to be released on vinyl, the band has bought its own vinyl pressing plant!
Metallica has been working with Furnace Record Pressing in Virginia for years and decided to take things further.
Singer James Hetfield said in a statement said that the move guarantees that fans “will have continued access to high-quality records in the future.”
According to Billboard, Metallica sold nearly one million vinyl records in 2022.
Do you think more bands should purchase record plants? Are you a collector of vinyl? Which album would you most want on vinyl?
