Metallica is living up to its promise of giving back.

The band has donated $100,000 to 15 community colleges around the country.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Kentucky (about 50 miles south of Louisville) is one of those of lucky schools.

The money will help fund student scholarships.

The donation is part of the band’s “All Within My Hands” program designed to support career and technical paths.

What would your reaction be if you got a scholarship from Metallica?
