Metallica Warns Fans About Crypto Scams

Metallica is warning fans not to fall for crypto scams that have popped up in recent days.
Ever since the band announced the new album 72 seasons and the massive M72 World Tour, scammers have begun to appear promising ‘Metallica Crypto giveaways’ and other prizes.
Metallica writes: “Let’s be as clear as possible. These are scams. They’re being streamed on fake YouTube channels posing to be ours and all pointing to websites that we do not run.”

The band says to make sure any contests or offers are coming from a verified Metallica account.
One man says he was scammed out of over $25,000 worth of Bitcoin by a fake Metallica YouTube channel.
