Moderna Announces Vaccine Nearly 95% Effective

For the second time this month, there’s a glimmer of hope for a COVID-19 vaccine.
Moderna announced Monday its vaccine appears to be nearly 95% effective.
That’s according to preliminary data from the company’s still ongoing study.
A week ago, competitor Pfizer announced its own COVID-19 vaccine appeared similarly effective.
