My Chemical Romance Cancel Concerts in Ukraine and Russia

My Chemical Romance is the latest band to announce they are pulling the plug on upcoming tour dates in Russia and Ukraine.

As part of their huge, long-awaited comeback tour, they were scheduled to perform in St. Petersburg and Moscow on June 16 – 17 and then Kyiv, Ukraine on June 19, but those dates have now been canceled.

The band released a statement on Twitter saying “We hope to be able to play for the fans there soon.”

Other bands have also canceled tour dates there since Russia invaded Ukraine almost two weeks ago including Green Day, Bring Me The Horizon, and twenty one pilots.
