The much-hyped My Chemical Romance reunion is officially underway, as the band played their first show in seven years over the weekend in Los Angeles.

The band opened with “I’m Not Okay (I Promise) and ripped through 20 songs before closing with “Welcome To The Black Parade”. Frontman Gerard Way thanked the fans for “such a magical night and such a warm welcome back”.

Will a larger reunion tour follow? So far all the band has lined up are a handful of festival dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in March of next year.
