Uh Oh. Netflix is trying, yet again, to crack down on people simply sharing their password with other people instead of simply purchasing their own account.

Netflix is testing a new verification system that several users have noticed and reported to others. A screen pop up that reads “Start your own Netflix for free. If you don’t live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching.”

Then you’re asked to confirm your account with a verification code sent to the owner of the accounts email. If you don’t have the code, Netflix will ask the user to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Netflix.

Right now, it’s only cracking down on TV used accounts not phone or laptop users.
