Three months after Travis Barker promised a new blink-182 single would drop “soon,” the track has finally been assigned a release date.

“Quarantine,” the first new blink-182 song in a year, is set to arrive this Friday, the band announced Wednesday. Barker says he’s sure fans will find the track to be worth the wait. “It’ll be a Blink favorite,” he says. “It’ll be like all our fan favorites. It’s incredible.”

The tune will be featured on an upcoming EP that will “hopefully be out by the end of the summer,” Barker says.

How has blink-182 changed since their heyday? Do you think they’ll stay together into old age, like the Rolling Stones have?
