New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert Undergoes Surgery To Treat Cancer

New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert is recovering from surgery, after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Earlier this month, Gilbert was found unresponsive in bed by his wife, who saved his life by calling 911 and performing CPR.
Gilbert was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Pheochromocytoma, and underwent successful surgery to remove the tumor and returned home on Sunday.
He recounted the experience on Instagram: “Yesterday was the first time I got to smell fresh air since December 5th. I’m home with my wife and baby and so thankful to be alive!”
